My name is Amba and I moved to Jakarta about 3 months ago with my
family from the U.S.
Thanks for the awesome blog you have.
I would like to ask if you know of an experienced swim coach who can
give lessons to adult learners - some scared of water here in Jakarta.
I live in Kemang and can organize the group for a few friends at home
in my own pool for privacy.
However, iI you know of any excellent instructors who work at clubs or
public swim pools but who hold small individual or private lessons too
please let me know.

I was looking through this blog as I too just moved to Jakarta from Los Angeles. I used to teach private swim lessons for all ages and all skill sets ranging from beginners to long distant open water swimming. I have a very large pool at my apartment here in Jakarta and would love to discuss your needs if you are still looking. Hope you are enjoying Jakarta. Would be great to hear the expat tricks to the city. I've only been here for less than a month and even the smallest tasks can seem pretty complicated. How are you?/ I am also looking for someone to help me swim better, I can swim a little but its been years since i swam and would like to build my confidence up a lot more.
I am heading to Jakarta next weekend but I will be working most days and only free in the late evenings with traffic. If you are free can you let me know and once i get my indonesian sim reconnected i will call your.
