Dear ....
This might like a very silly question when asked in Jakarta ( both for cultural and geographic reasons), but as a working caucasian, I miss the opportunities to tan and frankly don't even have a place to do it out in the open. Are there any tanning salons in this city??

As of now I have not been able to find any classes here of this nature. On occasion the Mercantile Athletic Club offers etiquette / table manner classes at the club but these take place approximately 2 times per year. Travel to Jakarta Tips

Hi there ladies,

I have read some of your questions and see that mine doesnt fall within your general advice but here it goes.

My cousin and I will be visting Jakarta this November and not sure where the best part of the city is to book a hotel and still be close enough to the night life and other main attractions. Also can we use the train - is it realiable to get around?

Weekend Dance Classes in Jakarta

Read your blog with great interest.

I am an expat and have been looking for weekend dance classes in Jakarta for the longest time! Either they offer only weekday slots or only one (very early) class on a Saturday.

The classes I am interested are: strip tease, pole dancing or Beyonce/Pussy Cat Dolls type of routine. Objective is to have some exercise and fun at the same time.
